Lincoln Square Presbyterian’s Youth Ministry exists to provide spiritual care, learning and growth of students 10+ years old. Our youth programs build on the work of our children’s ministry, and they are the tangible means by which our community participates in the development of our student’s love for Christ.
The ministry is lead by Rob Globke, the Youth Ministry Coordinator. Rob and many faithful volunteers from our church body work with the youth ministry. Contact Rob with questions.
Our Sunday morning youth class meets at Waters School (in the north hallway) on the second, fourth, and fifth Sundays of each month. Students participate in a study using the series The Most Important Thing You’ll Ever Study (Starr Meade). Also, the youth also take part in a memory program that includes the Apostles Creed, Books of the Bible, and other selected passages.
On the first and third Sundays of the month, these students are encouraged to attend the worship service with their families.
Bible Discussion Groups
LSPC’s youth ministry offers two Bible study discussion groups: one for girls and one for boys.
These groups meet bi-weekly in the Lincoln Square neighborhood, and they are lead by volunteers from the church community. The groups are a time for friendship, mentoring, questions, and growth in spiritual knowledge.
On a regular basis (about every other month) the LSPC youth group gathers in a church family’s home or goes on an outing. These fun events foster community and connection for the students.
