Lincoln Square Presbyterian’s Youth Ministry exists to provide spiritual care, learning and growth of students in 4th - 12th grades. Our youth programs build on the work of our children’s ministry, and they are the tangible means by which our community participates in the development of our student’s love for Christ.
The ministry is led by Erik Oldfather, the Director of Youth Ministry, and supported by many faithful volunteers. Contact Erik with questions or to get your child involved.
Our Sunday morning youth class meets at Waters School (in the north hallway) on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Students participate in a various studies of books of the Bible.
On the first and third, and fifth Sundays of the month, these students are encouraged to attend the worship service with their families.
Once a month the LSPC youth group gathers in a church family’s home or goes on an outing. These fun events foster community and connection for the students.
Sr Youth (8th - 12th grade) also meet once each month for a lunch discussions about issues and questions faced by today’s youth.
Bible Discussion Groups
LSPC’s youth ministry offers various Bible study discussion groups.
These groups meet monthly in the Lincoln Square neighborhood, and they are lead by volunteers from the church community. The groups are a time for fun, friendship, mentoring, questions, and growth in spiritual knowledge.
