Erik Borggren, Director of Mission and Discipleship

Erik was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and attended college at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. After graduating from West Point, Erik served as an infantry officer in Washington and Georgia before moving to Oxford, England and then Seoul, South Korea with his wife Erica. In Seoul, Erik taught Social Studies at an international school and, after the birth of his son Ethan in 2006, was a stay-at-home-dad. In Seoul, and later in Phoenix, AZ and then Tampa, FL, Erik also began more formal ministry work and studies while Erica completed her service as an Army officer. The whole family is excited to now be in Chicago, where Erik is pursuing his M.Div. at North Park Theological Seminary.
