Morning and Evening Prayer

Morning and Evening prayer is a spiritual practice of praying Scripture at particular times of day. These times of prayer interrupt the patterns of our typical days—patterns that often tell us who we are and why we are—and introduce a new pattern, a new liturgy, that tells the true story of God and us. In Morning and Evening prayer we are invited through God’s word to encounter the Word who made us, redeems us, and is remaking us into into the fullness of His image. This is the beauty of this prayer practice, the liturgy proclaims the story of God and is prayed as our story. We are formed by doing.
