How do we love and serve our church community?

Listed below are the ways to help on Sunday mornings. You can click on the ministry title/ministry leaders name to sign up or get more information.

We encourage you to talk with Pastor Chad or the church staff if you have questions about ways to serve at LSPC.

Worship space set-up/clean-up – this team sets up and cleans up Waters Elementary School for the worship service and the children's ministry classrooms. Contact Melinda with questions or to join the set-up/clean up team.

Hospitality (Prepare the coffee and bagels) – this team prepares and clean ups the coffee and bagels for a time of fellowship following the worship service. This is a special time for us meet and get to know one another better. Contact Page with questions or to join the hospitality team.

Greeters – this team of men and women (including children and families) welcome people to the church, hand out orders of worship, and set up the information table. Contact TJ with questions or to join the team.

Communion Set Up – this team prepares the communion elements for the service and cleans up after the service. Contact Melinda with questions or to join the team.

Worship Music and Sound Technician – We are fortunate to have a number of musicians from our church and the surrounding community contribute their time and talents. If you would like to help with music or sound on Sunday mornings, contact Jodee.

Nursery Volunteers – these volunteers support our regular nursery staff in our infant and toddlers rooms. Contact Melinda with questions or to be put on the nursery schedule.

Children's Worship– this team is made of up of volunteers who teach and who assist with the weekly children's worship program (kindergarten - 3rd grade). Children's worship meets during the 10:15 am worship service. Contact Melinda with questions or to join the team.

Youth Ministry Classes– On the 1st and 3rd Sundays, LSPC holds two youth classes (4th-6th grade and 7th grade-12th grade). These volunteers help by teaching or being a classroom helper for these two youth classes. Contact Rob with questions or to volunteer.


Meal and Care Ministry

The Meal and Care Ministry seeks to support families during times of joyful transition (such as the birth or adoption of a child) or times of difficulty (loss of job, sickness, or death of a loved one).
